Flooring Industries becomes exclusive licensor of Windmoeller LVT patent rights. |

Windmöller Flooring, the manufacturer of glueless LVT products, and Ulrich Windmöller Consulting, the owner of specific patents in the LVT domain, have entered into an agreement with Flooring Industries, the intellectual property company of the Unilin group. This agreement gives Flooring Industries the exclusive right to sublicense Windmöller’s patents to existing and new customers.
“We are happy to partner up with Flooring Industries”, state Ulrich and Matthias Windmöller, directors of Windmöller. “Flooring Industries has built up an enormous licensing network and expertise in our flooring business. It was thus a logical choice to outsource the licensing of our patents to them, especially since they already owned several patents that apply to glueless LVT products”.
“Flooring Industries shall now have the possibility to offer the Windmöller patent rights to interested parties”, comments Bart Van der Stockt, managing director of Flooring Industries. “We also welcome other companies to talk to us when they have innovative ideas and/or patent rights. Flooring Industries has, over the last decade, developed quite some experience regarding patent enforcement and licensing. We are open to share this experience and our licensing resources with companies that have innovative ideas in order to create a win-win situation.” |
