New patent victory in China for Unilin. |

Recently, the Chinese Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) rendered a new decision, confirming the validity of Unilin Chinese patent ZL 97190692.0, which protects Unilin glueless locking technology for flooring panels.
The same patent has already been the subject of an invalidation action before the SIPO in 2010 and also then it was decided that the patent was new and inventive according to Chinese patent legislation.
Unilin currently has 21 granted patents and 19 patent applications in China which cover a variety of technologies that Unilin has developed over the years (glueless locking technology, bevel technology, surface technologies, floor manufacturing technologies, ...). More than 90 Chinese companies have already entered into a license agreement with Unilin for one or more of these technologies. |
