Unilin acts against patent infringing products of Yekalon, Jiangsu Beier (BBL), Oudelong and Yulan on Domotex 2009 fair. |

The court of Hamburg issued on the 16th and 19st of January 2009 preliminary injunctions against Yekalon Industry, Jiangsu Beier Decoration Materials (BBL), Changzhou Oudelong Decorative Material and Jiangsu Yulan Wood,
The cases against Beier and Yekalon were based upon patent infringement of the products that these companies were offering on the Domotex 2009 fair. Beier nor Yekalon have the right to offer or sell products that are falling under the Unilin patent rights.
Other summary injunctions were served against Oudelong and Yulan. These related to an injunction for patent infringement during the Domotex fairs of 2007 and 2008.
The bailiff served the orders during the fair and immediately confiscated all the infringing products that the companies were offering.
Unilin will continue to support its licensees by taking actions against the patent infringing products that are brought on the market by companies that are doing business without Unilin patent protection. |
