German court rules in dispute between Yekalon and Unilin |

Earlier this month, the court in Hamburg decided that Unilin did not provide enough evidence to maintain the injunction against Yekalon, a Chinese manufacturer of flooring products. However, the judge dismissed Yekalon's argument that its locking system 'Tap & Go' does not consist out of a "tongue" and "groove" element. Unilin welcomes the fact that there is a court decision which counters Yekalon's yearlong non-infringement argument. Unilin shall now discuss with its North-American and European counsels which further steps can be taken against Yekalon and the distributors of Yekalon products. The decision is open for appeal. |
