The invention concerns a manufacturing method for floor panels, wherein part of the manufacturing is done with a laser treatment. The invention in particular concerns finish cutting of the laminate panels with a laser.

The technique allows obtaining an extremely high quality cut edge, without chipping of the laminate layer.
